Courtney attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she discovered her passion for public service while earning a Bachelor’s in Social Work and a certificate in Public Policy. During her time in Wisconsin, she had the opportunity to work with the community in numerous ways, including running a tutoring program for local high schoolers, collaborating with a state representative, and strengthening the university’s relationships with community partners. After graduating, she moved to the Bay Area, where she continues to engage in roles that support and uplift her community. Committed to advocacy and positive change, she aims to empower others and foster connections. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, hiking, and exploring the Bay Area.

Last night, City Youth Now and Juvenile Probation

Last night, City Youth Now and Juvenile Probation joined together to bring this opportunity to youth and families! We all enjoyed an epic night at the Warriors’ stadium - it was an exciting game with both teams at 90 points and 21 seconds left on the clock. We celebrated a Warriors win and successful community outing! Many thanks to CYN staff, board members, youth and Juvenile Probation Department staff for joining and making this event possible.

City Youth Now was the leading fiscal agency for this year’s event, put together in collaboration with HSA staff, Recs & Park staff, and our Executive Director. For months, the planning committee came together and planned, outreached, and volunteered their time to make this event a success! Way to go, team!
