Jasmine Itliong

As a graduate of San Jose State University, Jasmine found her passion of working in non-profit organizations dedicated to youths during one of her volunteer classes. Having both a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Communication Studies, Jasmine now dedicates her time and experiences to giving back to the community in any way she can, offering a helping hand wherever it may be needed, and supporting youths in all areas to overcome any barriers to reach their personal – and educational – goals. During her free time, Jasmine loves to try new food, explore new places, or binge-watch Netflix shows at home with her hyperactive pup.

George Herrera
Program Coordinator
George is a San Francisco native. He graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning. With a deep love for sports, George is an avid fan of the local teams and has channeled his passion into coaching. For the past seven years, he has dedicated his time to working with youth as the varsity basketball coach at a local high school, helping to foster not only athletic skills but also personal growth and teamwork.

Courtney Wayland
Program Assistant
Courtney attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she discovered her passion for public service while earning a Bachelor’s in Social Work and a certificate in Public Policy. During her time in Wisconsin, she had the opportunity to work with the community in numerous ways, including running a tutoring program for local high schoolers, collaborating with a state representative, and strengthening the university’s relationships with community partners. After graduating, she moved to the Bay Area, where she continues to engage in roles that support and uplift her community. Committed to advocacy and positive change, she aims to empower others and foster connections. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, hiking, and exploring the Bay Area.
